COVID 19 ANNOUNCEMENT

Aston Swallownest JFC will be adhering to the guidelines and encouraging players, parents and visitors to support the measures in place to keep preventing further spread of coronavirus.

In keeping with FA guidelines, Neil Morton has been nominated COVID-19 Officer for Aston Swallownest JFC.

Please review the COVID-19 Guidance from the Government which describes the return of football as part of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown. Although the roadmap indicates no spectators are allowed at grassroots football, the FA clarify the following within the SPECTATORS section -

"No spectators are allowed at grassroots football as part of step one of the Government’s roadmap. One parent or guardian per child is permitted, where clubs and facilities can safely accommodate this and following all appropriate guidance."

The FA has issued their latest guidelines (as of 24th March 2021) for the return of outdoor competitive grassroots football and it's very important that we all take the time to read through the information provided so we can help everyone to stay safe.

ASJFC have carried out a detailed risk assessment (which can be seen upon request with the Welfare Officer) outlining the risks and controls in place or actions required to prevent and/or limit the risks so we can help everyone stay safe.
